  • suave naturals. you can get them at the dollar store for a buck!
  • main and tail is 7 buck for a huge bottle and it is amazing stuff
  • Other answer is correct....suave. used their products for years. its cheaper and works just as good as those $10 a bottle products. Read the ingredients in both and compare. Not much difference, at all.
  • There is VERY cheap and then there is affordable that works. Here's both short lists. Cheapest of cheap (75 cents to $1 on sale): Suave VO5 These clean well, but didn't leave my long (colored), but naturally curly hair shiny or silky. In fact they dried it out too much. Affordable, but really work well: Dove Treseme (even comes with salon pump) Citre Shine Finesse Each of these are $3-5 for a pretty large bottle that lasts 1-2 months, depending on hair length & number of washings. They all work great and add silky shine. If you shop when they are on sale and can get coupons, you can often save $2-3 or more a bottle. Another option: use whatever shampoo you can afford and use a styling aid that gives silky shine. Citre Shine anti-frizz serum and Sunsilk Hydra TLC work great. • alberto balsm fructis
  • I use Pantene Pro-V 2-in-1 sleek and shine. I find that if you shampoo once, rinse, and then shampoo again but leave it in for about 2 mins it works awesome to keep your hair shiny, silky, and beautiful. I tried this trick after I highlighted my hair for the first time at 17 yrs old. The highlights made my hair feel like straw and I was going through a bottle of conditioner every three days to try and get rid of that gross feeling. Leaving the second shampooing in for just a little bit longer makes all the difference. No more straw! But make sure it's the 2 in 1, straight shampoo doesn't have the same effect....tried it.
  • I use Pantene Pro-V moisture or color revival...I switch because my hair tends to go flat after getting used to one kind. I recommend switching your shampoo and conditioner every so often, this keeps your hair from getting used to the same product. I also like Dove and the Loreal Vive produts....... Want your hair to really shine? Use a hair serum (not the spray kind)...Put a small amount in your hand and rub together, pull generously through your hair. Look for the kind that are thicker so they won't make your hair look greasy!!
  • also use assuie!
  • I like Fructis as well...Sunsilk or the Bath and Body Works lines are my favorites though. Sauve works ok - it has a tendency to dry out my hair though.
  • I like Suave Professionals Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. I came to Suave after spending tons of money and a lot of years on salon products that did nothing, or made my hair feel greasy within hours of washing it. I know the "dirty" look is in, but some of us like clean, conditioned hair that doesn't look like we conditioned with Crisco. My hair is oily at the roots and dry at the ends and this shampoo works! Pantene sucks by the way..it is all silicone, which builds up in 1-2 washes for a nice "coated" greasy feel..ultimately drying out the hair. Made my scalp break out as well.
  • White Rain products work so well and sometimes are only 99 cents when they are on sale. It's such an awesome deal because they work so well and make my hair feel so silky and tangle free :)
  • For a more expensive choice... Go with the Wen products. You can get them on the shopping networks. For a cheaper find, I absolutely love the Suave Clarifying shampoo and conditioner. I have very course and dry hair, curly and thick, but it is oily too and neither of these make it worse.
  • Do you have any dollar stores around? A lot of times they have expensive brands that fell off a truck or something for a dollar. I read so far all the brands people have mentioned, and while they clean the hair, they don't work for my head. I envy the people that can use the cheap shampoo, but in my case you get what you pay for. I dye my hair and it looks very dry with the cheapo shampoos.
  • Suave is good, and cheap. :o)
  • suave, Vo5, herbal essences, dove, traders joes organic shampoo.
