  • Absolutly not... with the exception of Monty Python. We like JK Rowling and all your actors though...
  • They are shown on American television, but some of us need to have the subtitles turned on! They vary in popularity, and people seem to love them or hate them. Others just don't "get" them. In more serious drama, we even get a commentator who explains the story for us at the beginning and end for those among us who are more severely intellectually impaired!
  • Yes, some do. Personally I watch them. Some of my favorites are Coupling (the American remake was dismal) and My Family. It is all a matter of taste, and people from the US have many different tastes just like everyone else.
  • I prefer the british sitcoms to the American ones. It's more raw, and alot funnier, and I have caught on myself on more than one occasion thinking did they just really say that? Its great. Just got caught up on two pints and a packet of crisps, has got to be one of the best sitcoms of all time. Some brit sitcoms I want to watch but are unable to find because I cant watch them on the co.uk sites since im in america, But the ones I do find, I absoutly love. And I'm american myself. It makes me want to move to the UK. Just saying lol.
  • I own the DVDs for "Are You Being Served?" and am waiting to purchase "Keeping Up Appearances." I think "As Time Goes By" would be lovely to own, but I just don't see myself with the money. (sigh)
  • Love BBC. They know how to "pahteeee."
  • I'm a HUGE fan of Britcoms. They are the BEST. Different sense of humor but, I was British in my past life.
  • I don't know about anyone else, but British humor is funnier to me than American. LOVE Monty Python, etc.
