It does that to those who are conscious of the need for it. However some men and many women don't have much drive for it and aren't that keen on it.
For a married couple who both have a high sex drive and who have it several times a day there is a rejuvenating effect. Women with continuing high testosterone levels are much more likely to experience the rejuvenating effect.
