If something has always existed, does it matter whether people agree or disagree with it?

Agreeing with homosexuality is kind of like agreeing with gravity - it simply "is" and their agreement is irrelevant.

It only matters to people who care what they think. However, I do think that the majority of those who say, "I disagree with it.", don't "disagree" with the homosexual orientation, but with homosexual behavior. Orientation may have always existed, but I know of no proof that homosexual behavior has "always" existed. As I said, it only matters if you give a damn about what they think.

If you put your differences in categories like Urgent Not so Urgent and Not Urgent it may let you see what you'er sweating about is worth the fight or not.

We all have different realities, intellects, mindsets, baggage..semantics also plays part. So if we ever agree on anything it's a miracle I think. No, it doesn't matter because agreement/disagreement sometimes is phony..some people love to play Devil's advocate and ya never really know what the heck they think in the first place! Love. you can talk about it, you can experience it, you can hate it.......but its always been here and always will be, till man ceases to exist.

I guess it depends upon specifically what IT is... Abuse has always existed. I personally disagree that abuse is acceptable and I strive to uncover and halt it when able and called to do so. Homosexuality has always existed. Heterosexuality has always existed. Since in this case I believe that we ARE what we ARE in both situations...I don't care if someone else agrees with it or not.

Not one whit. "Agreeing with homosexuality" is like "agreeing" with left-handedness or green eyes. Normal, sane people don't pass judgement on inborn human traits - they just accept them for the human variations that they are, no more, no less.

Heck no. I don't know what exactly you're referring to, but I think it's on them. Both parties should have a right to go about their business so long as they're not hurting anyone. But if you're referring to something like wife-beating then it matters.

The existence of something has nothing to do with people agreeing or disagreeing with it. I may disagree with someone's beliefs or actions, but that doesn't make them go away.
