Answer to:
Why do girls always have thier mouths open when putting on masscara?
Ehh I'm not a mascara fan.. but here is why it happens sometimes:
When taking the wand and putting it to our eyes, we extend our face (specifically eyes and lids). That's because when your eyes are opened in a normal fashion, the lid is bunched up and can get some of the residue on it (which wouldn't be so appealing, now would it?.
But if you extend your eyes open, your...

What are some really good books that you think I would like if I said that I liked pretty much anything?
- And please be serious, I mean it.
It's hard to pick a book to recommend if you don't have a specific requirement.
I guess I would say Chuck Klosterman's "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs''
I enjoy non-fiction books, but I don't consider this to be one of the most ingenious sociological book ever written. It's more of a ramble from one person's point of view. However, it is an easy...

What makes a person left or right handed?
I think it's about comfort.
I vaguely remember learning to write when I was younger, and (I think) my teacher told us to use the hand that was more comfortable for us. After that the rest of the training would keep with that one hand.
I suppose children/people who use both hand were just indecisive.

Why do most people kiss with their eyes closed? Do you?
I think it's just a natural reaction when your eyes are that close to something, like someone's face.
If someone were to throw a ball to your face. You may catch it, but the closer it gets, you'll probably close your eyes.

Does ones looks affect how people treat eachother?
It depends on the situation.
If a gorgeous girl walks into a bar, people are nicer to her and she probably won't have to pay for a drink all night.
At work, it's all about how you work (unless work for a slob of a boss, but I don't think that happens often)

My skin.
There is nothing wrong with mine. I have no deformities, but I would love it to be perfect.
All scars on my hands from working to be removed, scars on legs from falling off my skateboard and bike, to have even color and no brown spots from the sun. I would wear sunscreen more often if I got a new layer of it.

I don't take people serious when they ask me questions online. It's almost like they didn't take the time and consideration to do it in person (or sometimes balls). So I usually dismiss it.
Plus it's so easy to ask everyone on your buddy list to hang out, but not in person. I suggest you approach her in person. It's much tougher, but the sooner you do it the easier...

Great question. Hm.. I think about 7 or 8.
That was 14 years ago. Haha wow. I remember the pc being much simpler and not much to it. I don't even think the computers at school had mouses, it was all opperated by keyboard.

Why do teenagers like to drink to excess? I've never understood why my peers do this.
Whenever you're not allowed to do something, you want to do it and usually end up abusing it. Once people turn 21, they don't care so much anymore because they've experienced it and realized it's not that awesome.
I think also time has evolved youth's to believe that it's the only type of entertainment. Late teens would consider non-alcoholic means of fun to be...

Depending on how she feels about you (which I assume could be the same since you said there have been feelings there before), you're confession could help her have the courage to deal with him better or break things off with him.
Therefore, when she is not as the ultimate low point of stress and problems, and you do decide to say something, I would make sure you word yourself correctly...

How important is virginity to youth today?
I still think it's important despite all those horrible things you hear in the news of lipstick parties and stds among teens. For women much more important then men.
You only need a few overly sexual young individuals to flaunt their actions and make it seem like everyone is acting the same, when they aren't. The ones who care about their virginity are usually ashamed to admit it....

Well I remember this when I was going to school. "Dating" in those very early ages was considered more of a show. It's just proving to other people in school that you are attractive and interesting enough to have a significant other. Almost like a popularity contest.
Although at that age you're still uncomfortable with yourself, making it hard to have a "real"...

Answer to:
Are schools prisons? Or were those really the best years of your life?
It's by far without a doubt considered a PRISON to me. Although I am the only person out of all my friends who feels this way, so it's all subjective.
I will say this to give you some hope, the higher in education you go, the better it gets.
Example, for me: Middle school was like a fascist nightmare, high school sorta stunk, and college is manageable.
Answer to:
What TV commercial annoys you the most?
Geico's commercials with the cavemen.
"So simple, even a caveman can do it"
I think its a horrible concept and not remotely funny. Plus the cavemen irritate me.

If there is one thing you wish was never made what would it be and why?
Cars
I've traveled through Europe over the summer and it was a great feeling to ride a bike everywhere. Some towns had better shortcuts and more roads for bikes then for the automobile.
I also miss the idea of public transportation. I don't mind the idea of buses or trains. That's those things helped give people a sense of community, which is missing nowadays. If you saw...

What are some very creative and delicious desserts to make for the holidays and add the recipes if you can?
I really like kraftfoods.com They have pictures and a lot of the recipes are very simple and usually always taste good. It's also got a semi-home made feel to it (like Sandra Lee)
I made this for Thanksgiving:

Answer to:
What do you look for in a partner?
Ambition and goals for themselves.
Strong-minded people in this sense are hard to come by, primarily in (no offense) males. I feel as though role reversal in work ethics has been occuring over the past couple of years, and it's discouraging when dating.
Also height, humor and attractiveness always add bonus points. Especially since I'm a tall lady.

Why are people afraid of commitment?
I fall in the category of being afraid of commitment.
For me it's because I'm at an odd age where I haven't dated much and I'm scared that the (potential) relationship may be so awesome that it's my last one (meaning the man will want marriage).
That may sound like it's a good thing, but I can't help to think 'how do I know I'm not settling...

I am fourteen and have never had a girlfriend in my life. Is this okay?
Yes! This is completely normal. It doesn't mean you're not attractive or interesting either, mid-teenage years are just very akward. People are still learning to be social and setting their priorities.
My first boyfriend was at 17 (as well as first kiss). Let me add that I personally find boys with less of a history more attractive. If I know that they have a ton of girlfriends in...

I'm seriously considering cutting ties with some very old friends. Have you ever done this? How did you do it and do you regret it?
I've done it as well. Although I took the casual slow ending rather then abrupt one. I had no reason to hate my friend or find her irritating, I was just growing up and she wasn't. She was clinging to me and I just needed to not have that kind of best friend.
Anyway, so I just kept decreasing the time I hung out with her. Always made plans on the weekends with other people. I gave...

Does anyone here know or has met a famous person? If yes, who?
I worked for a record company for a short time, so I got to meet some random people. Such as:
Nelly
Mando or Mano? (not sure who he is, but I know he had a song with lil Kim)
Sway (the big haired dude from MTV)
I think one of the dudes from Godsmack too, but I'm not a fan of them so I couldn't tell you which one.
Also a bunch of pop-punk, hardcore, indie, whatever bands.

Why do some answerbaggers give a negatve rating when you answer the question honestly and are not offensive? Like have you ever....( NO..for example)why ask that way if thats not what you want?
I've noticed that sometimes when questions were asked or aimed towards a younger crowd (example but not limitied to: teens) there is more negative feedback on simple responses or innocent jokes.
It's almost like they were not satisified enough with your answer. I personality understood the negative button as a way of calling out on the people who abuse the website and answer things...

Have you ever heard of a rock band called Harvey Danger?
Yes. I remember 'Flagpole Sitta".
I hadn't heard anything about them in a long time until I got into this band The Long Winters, which I found out has/had one of Harvey Danger's members in it. (I recommend downloading them too.. "Ultimatum" is a kick ass song)

What is the most frightening song you've ever heard?
Tori Amos had a cover album come out a little while ago. She did Eminem's "'97 Bonnie & Clyde"
It was a rap where Eminem narrated throwing his ex-wife's body that he killed into the ocean as he talks to his daughter.
It's a disturbing song to begin with, but when Tori Amos speaks/sings it with her eerie voice it takes on a completely different dimension....

Strength: Being honest and up front when most people aren't or are scared to be, but not overstepping my boundries. Cheering people up.
Weakness: Admiting when I am wrong. Stubborn when it comes to getting help. I have way too much pride in being able to do it all myself proving my independence from everyone.

Answer to:
Why did Eminem remarry his ex-wife?
I think that most famous people end up going back to the significant others who were with them prior to fame. They begin to realize they can't trust all the new people in their lives because you don't know who's a gold digger or fame searcher.
But the people who stuck with you when you were nothing - they're the real deal and always were.
Not sure if thats specifically...

Whats some tips to go to sleep faster. I spend 2 hours trying to get to sleep. I also take medicine around 7 pm and could a antidepressant be causing that problem?
Don't use your bed for anything but sleeping. You can train your body to recognize that when you hit the mattress and covers, it's there to catch some zz's and that's it. By watching tv on it, eating in it, whatever you distract your body from recognizing it's original function.
That helped me reduce my sleep time by a half hour, I'm not sure I can help you with...

Who here thinks the Hummer is just a show off car? Just because they look good, they have HORRIBLE gas mileage and cost kind-of a lot of money.
People suffer from over-consumption of large things. (aka- Affluenza, which is a great book "Affluenza: The All-Consuming Epidemic") This causes them to believe that 'bigger is better'. It's also why people buy ridiculously large homes and don't use half the rooms for anything. It's a waste of land, just like the hummer is a waste of gas and parking space as...

Why did my brother turn atheist? And is there anything that will change his mind?
It depends on the age and how serious he is about it. If he's young, I believe that has a lot to do with it. I know personally that I went through a period where I believed in nothing and it was because I had pent up youth hostility. Primarily from late middle school-early high school. It was almost like 'the world sucks, and if there is a god, why would he make it so...

What is the saddest song you have ever heard?
Spangle by Jimmy Eat World
This is a cover though. The original band was The Wedding Present, but I enjoy the modern version better. It's a break up song.
Also Jon Brion's "Here We Go". I think it's on the Punch Drunk Love soundtrack. A sad song about trying to find someone.

I enjoy classical music (as most people suggested here), however some more modern music is also suitable.
I suggest Album Leaf.
Also, The Cinematic Orchestra is good. Half their album has vocals though (which I don't find distracting, but I suppose it depends on the person).
To hear snippets of both, I would suggest checking out http://www.emusic.com/ - My favorite music...

Ever heard of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs?
Indeed, they are good. They had an EP (maybe several, I'm not sure) prior to their full-length releases which I feel was more raw and closer to the hardcore genre.
I've never seen them live, however many of my friends have. They have told me Karen-O is like an insane alcoholic onstage.
