In Yahoo Answers, you get a week at most for responses and points for a question, and only one person gets a BA (Best Answer). Here in AB, you can get a response and 3 points after, say, 6 and 2/3 months, you asked a question.

A few decades ago when I was a child. My mother and myself went to the very bar where my father was drinking, reported to the police that he was drunk, and would be driving the car parked nearby. The cop said he could do nothing until he got in the car.

Recently in Ontario, or Toronto at least, we had to pay 5 cents per plastic bag--and a few of them have gotten bigger.
Even before that, I'd grab the odd discared empty plastic bag I found.
I suppose paper--brown paper--is better as it is renewable, but plastic has it's uses when the stuff you are carrying is soggy--even germy--and I'm often reusing plastic bags.
