Answer to:
An employee in my office is a religious fanatic. This level of religious enthusiasm in the workplace seems inappropriate--am I wrong?
This will depend upon where you work. If you work for a government office; proselytizing is not only inappropriate -- it is generally against government regulations. I have worked for the federal government (US Dept. of Army Co) and 2 state governments. Neither would tolerate this behavior. When I worked for the federal (US) military command, things were much more strict than any other place...

Is starting a coven necessary if you want to learn about and practice Wicca?
Nope, you do not need to start a coven. In fact, you absolutely should *not* be starting a coven if you are still learning. Leading a coven is a large responsibility. Learning takes a lot of time and energy all on it's own. Some people do form learning circles. This is not a coven, it's a little less formal...no firm leader/teacher/HPs & HP etc.
You *can* learn on your own;...

Is it acceptable to e-mail a thank you note for a gift?

Senior citiizens, especially will fall into the second category. Some people just like to have concrete things that they can save for sentimental reasons. I have a niece who is 11 that saves every card ever...

Is there a way to flush THC out of your system quickly?
You can flush almost anything from your system by drinking a lot and the use of diuretics. I use cranberry juice and stone root tea to help fight colds (you can buy it loose and make your own tea, if you buy a prepackaged tea, look on the ingredients). Stone root tastes a lot like dirt, but it is usually masked by the other herbs I use to fight colds; echinacea, mint, and chamomile. Golden...

How did the bull and bear come to be symbols of the stock market?
I located the answer at http://www.invest-faq.com
Evidently,"bear skin jobbers" were known for selling bear skins that they did not own; i.e., the bears had not yet been caught. This was the original source of the term "bear." This term eventually was used to describe short sellers, speculators who sold shares that they did not own, bought after a price drop, and then...
