Today is Grandparents Day. Isn't this just another Hallmark-invented observances to sell cards and small gifts that grandparents don't want or can't use? There's Columbus Day. Why have a day for Columbus? No, I think that grandparents should have a day. They deserve a day, just like mother's day and father's day.
