I was watching a documentary last night about China and the one child policy, and how it affects peoples' lives (traffiking, high abortion rate, huge fines, people in hiding, etc). Isn't it terrible?
I recommend against it, as it does lead to boys being favored and many abortions based on gender. However, a 2 child rule would do better at avoiding that and would lead to population control as some people only want 1 or 0 children.
