After a few days the TV turns back off again with the "lamp" light turningf on and I have to repeat the lamp installation process to turn it on. Thanks. The lamp & ballast are a matched set, if the wrong lamp is installed you will have these problems - high pressure lamps have strict startup and run voltages that are regulated by the ballast - use the correct lamp

Does anybody know if the new Sony (LCD HDTVs) XBR-10 models (ie KDL-46XBR10), or the upcoming XBR11's actually have the PIP feature (actually "picture-AND-picture" for Sony) still included, or have they removed this for 'economical' reasons? Thanks, Dan They do not show that as a standard feature, most are dropping it as 90% of customers do not use the feature & HD inputs do not work well with mixed inputs - HDCP errors drive the sets crazy and cause problems

The picture on my polaroid LCD TV looks like a bad trip. Everything is pink and orange and white and litterally looks like tie dye. Can it be fixed? common failure of the video/control board - good luck finding any parts for this, built as a disposable set

They are feint but noticeable when lighter images appear there. Im having trouble with my 46 sharp. it works fine for regular tv, but im having troubles with color flashes on my dvd try the dvd player on another set, it may be the problem

I have a WS-55315 model. I am having a problem with the TV accepting a signal from the either the Cable remote or the original remote. Both remotes work fine with the DVD and VCRs. I have reprogramed the cable remote with the origial code that was used wh sounds like the IR reciever is failing but first check for any source of IR noise, the newer spiral "green power" lamps give off massive amounts of ir, turn them off and see if any change - and LCD computer monitors can do this as well

One TV was plugged into the wall, the other wasn't when the problem started, but somehow they have the same problem whether cable is plugged in or not. The TV's have a vertically compressed screen and distorted, compressed to about 4 inches. you have two sets with vertical foldover, that happens - without a model number we can offer nothing for advise here
