Just watched "Questions & Ancestors" on BYU TV. Why do LDS accept DNA for genealogical research but not to prove the BOM tribe origins? Could Bearing Straight immigrant intermingling obliterate the Lamanites' Israeli DNA? All DNA evedance tells us that the BOM is false, end of story, LDS does not want to admit they have been living a lie.

But someone will say that is misinterpreted or something, they will defend all the facts in front of them because LDS members are either brainwashed or they have too much to loose in the church to believe it is false.

There are some changes in the D&C that completely reversed the original revelation. This bothered Book of Mormon witness David Whitmer so much that he left the church because of it.

For example, there are several times when the Melchizedek Priesthood is mentioned and used before the time when the Melchizedek Priesthood had even been given (helpful hint: it wasn't given before April 6, 1830).
