most hated subject in school? for me it was history and PE. I always hated the religion classes in both of the religious schools I went to. In the Evangelical school, it was called "Bible class," and in the Catholic school it was simply called "Religion." They were both boring and ultimately pointless for me. How is it coherent to say, on the one hand, that God has a divine plan, and on the other, to claim that we each have free will? All I can say is that one should stay away from liberal arts majors unless you have a passion for a particular subject that has persisted since childhood, and money isn't too big of a concern. I chose history because it's all I've cared about since I was 9-years-old, and I won't need to take a loan. If one can't manage that, one should find something practical and in demand.

No one ever pulled up and offered me a ride, but I did mentally prepare for that scenario. I didn't come up with much, though. Back when I could reread them, I liked them very much. I'm the kind of person who is very fond of her own writing. I would probably be less happy with them now. I think that we're all over dramatic in our personal journals. That's the purpose of them, really. Writing your thoughts gets them out of your head, and the more dramatic you are, the better you feel.
