My 10 year old son wears a severley rigid steel boned corset from buttocks to underarm for spinal condition. It must be worn very tight 23 hours a day without loosening or removal. Will the steels set off airport alarms and if they do what do we do?

I am about to go to bed but I need to be up in 6.5 hours. Alarms don't work well when I'm deep sleeping, any ideas how I can wake up on time?
