Hey thanks for the correct info, ptrask. It's a good thing you were on the ball, so to speak, since I dropped it. I'm an idiot sometimes!
So -- according to ptrask, who I am sure is right and who actually should get the credit for this since my first answer was wrong, a ping pong ball is 125.6 mm in circumference.

I have a ping pong paddle that is a CONTENDER with a backside softrubber by SPORTCRAFT. The thing I like about it the most is that it's the only paddle I've seen where the handle is curved. Where can i find one like it online?

I don't think this is correct. A ball with a 40mm circumference would be about 12.74mm in diameter. That is about 1/2 inch. I think the DIAMETER must be 40mm, which would make the circumference approximately 125.6mm.
