Why shouldn't I feed lettuce to rabbits? I thought that's what they eat.

    of all the people saying that "lettuce is low in nutritional value..." that's for humans! Don't forget that rabbits have a cecum and can process cellulose. The digestion of cellulose is highly caloric compared to what people get out of it. A person will die off of eating just grass whereas cows can get fat off of it; think about it.
