I think it would be smart to believe and live as if there is a God, then find out there isnt, than to believe there isnt, and at the end find out there is.

    • I beleive it does make sense and does answer the question.Your Grandmother wants to know you will be joining her in Paradise. To say her God is make beleive and not real Calls her a fool.Do you think you know more in your short life, than this wise old woman. There is a loving God ,To reject him and live out your life without him.You are declaring him your enemy.Hot or Cold there is no in between.THere will come a day when you be ready to listen to her advice.

    • That's called "Pascal's Wager" and it's a logical fallacy for a variety of reasons. 1) Christianity requires faith and "I'll pay lip service to this God just in case" isn't faith. 2) Which God? 3) It assumes that belief/religion has no other impact on the person's life.
