Why does my mouse stop working at random times? My computer says its not connected but it fixes itself after a few minutes. How do I stop it from happening?

i have this same problem with my mouse stop working for a few sec then starts working again. but heres the thing i have tried 4 different types of mice and tried to change usb ports and it still keeps stoping to work once in a while... I would REALY hate to reinstall my windows... The most boooringg thing ever so pls can anyone help?
