as a lesbian, if i go to a state that i can legally marry another women if i come home to my home state of florida is our marriage legal

    Most states that do not allow gay marraige also do not recognize it. You should get with other people of your same interests, and push for something that I think is the most likely to give both sides the "most" of what they want. Gay people want the legal benefits that come with marraige, and straight people (at least religions ones) mainly don't want it to be called marraige. Certain states will never allow it, so why not appease them a little, in order to get what you truely want, which is the legal responsibility for your partner. Call it something else, like Civil Union or something other than marraige. I know I'd be fine with that. Anywho, that was just a suggestion. Don't go getting pissed at me if I don't support your opinions.
