What does it mean when someone tells you,"you are a free spirit"?

    I say that to a couple friends of mine. To me its that they are not so quiet, shy and don't care what people say about them. The way they act, the things they do; they may be a little giddy at times, but all in all, whenever your around them you do nothing but smile cause they bring a smile to your face for what they do and who they are.

    My explanation may not be the best but for personally this is how i see it. Have a good day :)
