Out of sight, out of mind" or"..absence makes the heart grow fonder" can b looked @ in 2 diff. ways like most things! The average day that goes by 4 the most pt.,things that r out of sight r out of mind! Most ppl. focus on what they r doing that day & what they r going 2 do w/out really being self conscious of it! There r moments when some ppl. reminisce in there minds or w/others about the past, future & present! After time, most things fade away & occasionally the thought might cross ur mind especially if u c something that reminds u of that thought! Most familys & friends will go through some up & downs sooner or later & theres a fine line between love & hate! Alot of familys & friends take the times they share w/ eachother 4 granted & they dont no what they got until its gone so having time apart 4 awhile can make u realize how tight u were w/ some1 & the moments will b cherished more often! All ppl. r diff. but after being around some1 4 so long, ppl. start 2 settle in & set there ways & things just get somewhat surreal so a reality check of what u got around u wouldnt hurt everyonces in awhile! Absence in this case can make the heart grow fonder by realizing how much u miss the person when there gone & make u want 2 cherish the moments when they r around but like i say, its all how u look @ it! There r plenty more ways 2 look @ this but i try 2 keep it simple 4 the most pt., lol! Stay opened minded & THOROUGH folks! >E

    • You realize how much you miss people once they're out of your life. Regrets are tough. I know, because I've lost close family members.
However, my original question was meant mainly for "partners" separated from each other for extended periods of time and I was curious how many people would take advantage of that fact. Apparently, I lacked faith. Thank you for giving that back.
