    Italian - Ti amo
    French - Je t'aime
    German - Ich liebe Dich
Dutch - Ik houd van u
    Portuguese - Eu te amo
    Spanish - Te quiero

    • Actually, in Spanish, I love you is "Te amo," which is really similar to the Italian translation, and the Portuguese, too. The verb "querer" (conjugated to "quiero," in this case) means to like, so that would more or less be a way of saying "I like you." But good answer nonetheless. =] (Sorry, I know you probably don't care-- it was forever ago you answered this. =P)

    • if you want to get technical "quiero" DOES come from the root word "querer" which mean "to want"; BUT when you say "te quiero" you're really saying "i care for you". "TE AMO" would be the correct way to say "i love you" in spanish.
