Help answer this question below.

My wife has poor lung strength, due to many upper respiratory infections over the years. Will this effect her ability to try scuba diving?

    Quite possibly. She may still be able to go ahead with the course though. Restrictions have been lifted on asthmatics over the last couple of years, for example. Before she takes a course and during the sign up process, your wife will have to fill out a medical questionnaire. That issue is covered on it. The Dive shop employee administering the the forms will then ask her to see a dive qualified Doctor. The dive shop will have a list of local Docs. It HAS to be a dive qualified Doc. If the Doc signs her off, she's good to go. If not. That's it.
