Why isn't prostitution legal?

    Good question. I wonder why a guy spends $100 dollars on a real, legal date and can expect sex and that's okay while the same guy would get busted if he paid a hooker the same money for sex. It does not make sense and is not right. Prostitutuion, as long as kids are not involved, is not a crime in my opinion. I think it might not be legal because less men would be getting married and going to hookers for sex. That might be the only Sociological reason I can see for it possibly being ordered as illegal.
