Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. I'm sure in 100 years our decendants will look back and go "wow.... we actually DID that to people" about some custom we have now that I can't even name because it seems so perfectly normal to me in this day and age...

Like checking whether employees' "papers are in order" ?
Like submitting to requests to "show me your papers" from employers, air security guards, traffic cops (when you're not doing any trafficking)?
