Help answer this question below.

I have a 2003, GTI, 5 speed manual, 1.8T. with 59,000 miles on it. Two questions; 1. How can I see if the previous owner chipped it and if it is still chipped? 2. When at 80 mph I am at 3,200 RPM. Is this normal? What's your GTI's?

    The 3200 is what mine does at 80 Mph, so that seems to be the right figure. Not sure what you mean by chipped. E-mail me to ray.horv@gmail.com if you want to continue this conversation because chances are I am not going to be back here.
