Why is homosexuality not accepted by most Christians?

    Because they are afraid of homosexuality. People ARE born gay. I had a friend that wanted to be straight, was with several girls, but was never satisfied. If broke him down when he figured out his was gay. But he didn't want to be. But that was how he was born. Christians are narrow minded and follow and argue over everyword in the stupid book. I have read all of the bible. I studied Christianity for 18 years and I never liked what I read and saw.

    • Maybe you didn't like what you read or saw because it forced you to look at yourself on a deeper level. We all have different beliefs, and I don't think we will always agree,but I think you should be less hostile with othersfor stating theirs.

    • fisherofmen what bible are you readiing because i have several translations and in each one homosexuality is condemned. Christian beliefs have not been modified, that why everyone hates christian because they want to stick to the bible and most people today don't

    • "Don't be discouraged from Jesus. In the original languages homosexuality is not condemned." Anyone else who thinks differently is the one who is a sinner. Jesus taught that all people are good and all people will get into the kingdom of heaven if they beleive. I'm not gay, but I have a son who is and I love all my children more than you will ever know and I have complete faith in God that my son will be with me in Heaven. Its pathetic that ignorant people have tampered with bible versus over the years to make people turn against their neighbors.

    • Of course I cannot prove it, but I doubt very seriously if you have read the Bible in its entirety. Why would a Christian be afraid of homosexuals? And as far as your friend that wanted to be hetrosexual, the reason he didnt succeed at turning away from homosexuality is because he went from one sin to another. If he is having sexual relations with a woman he is not married to that is also a sin. So you cant turn from one sin to another and expect God to help you get over one or the other. I suspect the reason you are so hostile is because you are in the homosexual lifestyle and want to turn away from it, but because it has such a hold you cant. So you justify it by lashing out at what condems it.
