Do you believe as I have heard some say that the bible is nothing more than a book of fairy tales?

    High Heels for High Hopes

    I believe it is a valuable insight into ancient life and beliefs. Much of it is sybollic. Very interesting to study. Things like a virgin birth a repeated many times in those ancient cultures. I am an athiest. I believe it is a problem when the bible and other such religious texts are taken litrally and us utter fact. But I also think we shouldn't dismiss them as nothing more than child's stories.
