True, you have a savings acount. But what good is that going to do you when the nearest bank, that isn't leveled , is 500 miles away, only by foot, with no food, and no water, in 110 degree heat. Then will ask for help? (no offense)

Ah none taken. You make a good point. Still I am sick of hearing people gripe about it. Shit happens all the time, they aren't the only people who have suffered, who are suffering, or ever will suffer. It is life and it could be alot worse.

One of my best friends drowned in his home, the same 12 meters of water my house was under. I accepted what I thought was certain death, surrounded by those who sat praying and clinging to false hope that it would turn out all right. I was outside for the entire thing, A carton of cigarettes and a kid who's face I never forgot, but who's name eludes me. I colluded with 2 others my age, I just know their faces, and looted what was left of homes for food. Were were awake for 3 days, finally resting on the 4th, sleeping 5 feet from a makeshift morgue in the luggage terminal of louis armstrong. It was the only place we where we could be sure that our stuff didn't get jacked. I had to steal people's dying cell phones to make calls to my hysterical loved ones, telling them I was fine and it's not as bad as on TV. I never watched the TV. I never watched any of the coverage. I had to come back and have people stare me in the face saying, "You must feel so lucky!"
Go to hell.
