Traction control DOES work with front wheel drive. I don't know where you get the idea that it doesn't. Even with only two wheels, TC can vary the power going to either wheel based on the amount of traction each one has. This reduces wheel spin and allows optimum traction in slippery conditions.

    • Well I have a saab 93 2008 and I confirm TCS does NOT WORK.
when slippery, my wheels spin and the tcs light blinks that's all.
When I switch tcs off, wheels still spin (which is normal).

I've had different cars with REAL TCS and they do work.. when slippery, there'S no wheel spin, instead I keep grip to the ground automatically managed by the active tcs.
