Take more Vitamin C - this works for me :)

On regular days (no sign of a cold) you need about 1,500 mg.
(e.g. say three 500 mg chewable tablets with breakfast)
If you feel a cold coming on, take this with every meal.

The nice thing is it boosts your immune system
and you cannot overdose on Vitamin C.
