Why filament of bulb always emits orange light?

    The color of the filiment is based on what the filament is made of and the type of gas in the bulb. When anything is burned the color given of is based on what the thing is made of.

    • dont u think that there is only orange colour in normal filament bulbs?

    • Today there are many "normal" bulbs. If you are limilted to tungsten and a simple vacuum then yes, the color is going to be the same.
