Do you think the Madeleine McCann's family were right to go out and check on the kids every half hour? or stay in with them?

    I'm sure they'll be forever asking such a question. My parents used to do this when we were small and on holiday, I wouldn't do it but it's really an individual choice. People lose children in market places and shops. Little Jamie Bulger was with his mummy when he was stolen away.

    I agree that its probably not a helpful question for us to ponder on, that poor family need positivity and support. Let's hope and pray it works out well for them and any other family looking for their child.

    • In honesty the thought passed through my mind. I have a child with the same name and very similar age, looks etc and I've had friends phoning up to say how upsetting it is because my maddy makes them realise how real the situation is. As I say the thought passed through my mind, I have taken a babysitter on holiday before now but ended up taking the children and her out every night. I just like the kids' company. It's important to stress though that although it did pass through my mind I never thought badly of them because I still believe that it's a personal choice.

    • Huh...personal choice???....to leave you little children ALONE in a hotel room with services available to them?????? With their jobs, money could not have been an issue.
