That depends. I think we ought to get over our righteous indignation and stop seeing things in "black and white."
By legal definituion, an 18yo with a 17yo gf is a pedophine sexual abuser.
And no, I *DON'T* think a 18yo should go to prison for having a 17you gf.
Is it my business to tell?

Where would you draw the line for statutory rape, at what point is the age difference too much, when is consent really consent?

Maybe the law should say something like when one person is under 18 and one is over, it's not atatutory rape unless the age difference is greater than, for example, 4 years. I think some countries have laws like that.
