Question

Help answer this question below.

My daughter has a smelly scalp. Her hair is washed every other day. And I have even tried tea tree oil. The hair smells bad (mostly top of head area). I asked the doctor if it was something in her diet (yeast, etc), but no answers. It smells dirty.

    Hi!
I had the same problem for a couple of months. When I realised that it could be fungal infection I used Savlon, an anticeptic wound wash, as it contains chlorohexidine gluconate. It is used to kill any bacteria and fungus in medical fields. So what i've done was, I sprayed my hair and scalp with savlon, left it in for about 4 hours and then used Nizoral shampoo to wash it off. Miracle, my scalp hasn't smelled since!!!!
