Question

Help answer this question below.

Sometimes you reach a point in a relationship (not limited to romantic) that you think "what did I get myself into?" When you reach that point, do you back away or go forward and hope things get better? How long do you hang in and keep hoping?

I like to just be upfront about things. Relationships tend to get worse and worse and more and more complex (not in a good way) when the two people just wait and hope and ride things out. Every relationship where there isn't upfront communication is doomed.

If it's an issue that I just can't deal with (and shouldn't have to deal with) then I will bail. Sometimes it isn't easy to just say bye and bail, but, sometimes it's better not to drag things out.

    • I agree kdp. You don't want to be hasty but hanging in hoping only delays the inevitable....so sooner is probably wiser than later. Thank you for your answer and Happy Tuesday! :) ((hugs))

    • Yes. It's never an easy situation though. It seems.
