Help answer this question below.
If you miss your pills for a few days, this causes the "artificial" period you experience at the end of your 28-day or 21-day pill cycle (this is what you are experiencing now). This is normal. You can't stop the bleeding, just like you can't stop your period. The only thing to do is wait it out.
All the pills in your pack are exactly the same, they are just arranged the way they are so people can keep track of missed pills, since it is important to take this particular drug every day. This is also why they sometimes have the seven "sugar pills" in your pack at the end of the month - to keep you in the habit of taking them daily.
With this being said, I would use a backup method of birth control and call your doctor/clinic. You are currently not protected because you missed several pills. I would also take a pregnancy test if you had sex on this period, you want to be extra sure. The clinic will advise you about starting a new pack. Alternatively, if you look on the instructions that come in the box with your pills, there is usually a "What to do when you miss pills" section. Hope this helps!

You're reading I take birth control but I lost my pills for a few days and mistakenly took the pill for the day I'd lost them instead of the pill for the day I found them. I've been bleeding ever since and now I'm starting my next period. How can I stop the bleeding?
