Hate? No.
I do not like racists but hate is too strong of a word.
Hating someone gives them power and I refuse to do that.
Is it racist to hate blacks that further stereotypes?

not only does it give them power, hating racists as a group brings us down to their level
Hating any group, no matter how evil, for xyz reason or for what they are, IS being prejudice or racist.
Anger is a good emotion that humans need
hate is a powerful negative emotion that all of us humans could do without

I also have found that, if you do not react with hate towards them, every now and then a racist changes their mind. :)

I think the person would take a lot of heat for wearing such a thing but it does not immediately point to Mexican. I would not do such a thing because I would not take the heat.

I wouldn't do it either, but I just think it's a stretch to say it was directed at Mexicans
I don't approve of it
it is in very bad taste
but not racist
If anything it might be offensive to all illegal immigrants
I don't know if you saw the link about the swine flu
but heres the short of it
Jews, Muslims were offended by the use of the of the word swine
One group, not sure which, suggested that it be renamed the Mexican flu, since it was the country of origin
they don't want to be offended, but.....
