Help answer this question below.

I dated a guy for 8 1/2 years and we never married...some people think this is odd to date someone for so long..do you?

    Who cares what other people think. I say better to have dated for a while and realized you weren't meant to be than have a bunch of divorces under your belt. Too many times people rush into marriage and after they've been married for a while that's when all the little things come to light that they might have found out if they had just dated a little longer.

    • Oh I agree with what you are saying. My husband I have now we dated 5 months and now I look back and think "what was I thinking" marrying someone so soon. Luckily it has been good so far but who knows. We have learned alot about each other in the 4 years we have been together but we still have a ways to go.
