My mother tried to commit suicide when she was a freshman in high school.
If she had succeeded, my sister and I would not be here today.
You'd be surprised how different your life can change in a few years. I have struggled with thoughts of suicide many times. Just know that life gets better, and it gets worse. Toughing out the hard parts--even the bits that last a long, long time--is what builds us as people and makes us appreciate the good times.
Do you think there is any event that would cause you to consider committing suicide?
