How did you make your wedding unique?

    I went as SIMPLE as possible.

    Had it at a fancy restuarant INSTEAD of renting a hall, decorating it, renting tables + linens, and hiring a caterer.

    I had a fabulous buffet INSTEAD of a sit down dinner.

    I had only an hour long open bar, after that it was pay as you go.

    I had no dancing, just a live piano player. I like to hear people talking to me.

    I had NO assigned tables, my relatives are adults and picked where they sat.


    Maybe this is normal elsewhere, but the relatives on both sides were amazed and pleased. Ii still get compliments.
