Sometimes things like that are correct. But i don't think you can do that with, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". if you did it would sound like, "A bird in the hand is silent whereas the birds in the bush make music."
One of my favorite proverbs is: 'An enemy looks at one's shoes and a friend looks at one's face'. What is your favorite proverb?
