You're reading Do handicapped people mind if you offer help? Most seem a bit offended and some even snap 'no thanks' when offered. Watching them flounder around is horrible.

I don't think that is hardly EVER intentional. If you don't provide care for someone who is handicapped, or have a friend/family member who is, how else do you learn the correct lingo, terminology, etc. that is necessary so that you do not offend? Be tolerant of us!
