Help answer this question below.

How effective is tea tree oil in use against genital herpes? I have been prescribed anti virals but would rather use a natural remedy if at all possible

    The point is, not all things work for everyone. I know tea tree oil is effective against many viruses, but not if it is effective against herpes. I can tell you it would be painful if you put it on mucous membranes or open sores, but I doubt it would damage you.

    I have oral herpes which I control with lysine only. My daughter has it and she tells me lysine does nothing for her.
