    Many people name their cars or boats. Additionally, people have been known to name plants or other favorite inanimate objects. For example, I sleep with a pillow that is older than I am. As a child I would drag him everywhere with me, and I told my sister that I was going to marry my pillow. She said, "Oh yeah?" What's his name? and so I replied, "Sam". and that has been "his" name ever since.
