Would people be more polite on the internet if they had to use their real names?

    I try to be polite most of the time and I try not to do anything I wouldn't do normally HOWEVER, I wouldn't be as free to ask certain questions and some of my answers contain mentions of the innocent, if my name was out there they would KNOW I meant them. And they might not think I was being polite, ya know?
