I don,t know alot about it but I do have a friend who has it and as far as I know she contracted it from sharing needles and I do know you cannot get hep c from intercourse. It does affect your liver and it would be best not to drink.

I know it's been some time since U posted UR comment and I would like 2 say is U may need 2 research more about it being transmitted through intercourse cause and I don't intend on going into great detail about SEX,it is possible for a skin on either person 2 become RAW and begin bleeding,isn't this true?I know my dad died from liver cancer but also he was tested positive for HCV.My mom never contracted it or we would have known since we have had honest parents and would haven't put us kids at risk.It is documented by the CDC,that 1 % of people contract it through intercouse.
