Why do men play 5 sets in grand slams if they get the same pay as women?

    Good point... I actually did not know they received the same pay although the contention would be (I guess) that men when playing their best can play to 5, and women 3. I think women should be playing 5 sets. Women are stronger, tougher and fitter in greater numbers than they used to be and should be allowed to play 5 set matches now, IMO.
