I think the question is focussed on the last 200 or 300 years up to now and to all future.
And so I think the British will regard wit an extreme feeling of hatred the Germans as their worst enemies as they do now, do it in the future and they were used to do in the past.
There is no doubt for me as the British see themselves that the Germans will always be their worst enemies.
This only can be seen as a natural matter of fact.
They may have their problems with the Irish or Scottish but the Germans they do hate.
