Has anybody here had a successful experience with quitting drinking alcohol, after drinking it daily for some time? what are some things you would suggest to someone who is trying to quit? ... is it safe to go cold turkey?

it actully depend on the seriousness. like drinking it evry day. some times cold turkey is not the saferst idea. when u r experienceing cold turkey some symptoms might be inducing vommiting,being irratated vby not so serious thing. if ajny of these symptoms occur plz contact ur local doctor.(i was in special forces medic dude!)

You can also have seizures. This is why I said contact a Doctor. If someone is a true alcoholic they should only go cold turkey under a doctor's care. Whether that is in a rehab or at home.
