You're reading Has anybody here had a successful experience with quitting drinking alcohol, after drinking it daily for some time? what are some things you would suggest to someone who is trying to quit? ... is it safe to go cold turkey?

You can also have seizures. This is why I said contact a Doctor. If someone is a true alcoholic they should only go cold turkey under a doctor's care. Whether that is in a rehab or at home.
