My theory is that it is the Deadly and Insidious Abode Spider, though they normally exhibit chameleon-like powers that enable them to infest UP TO 93% of all houses in the world. The only way to normally detect them is to ingest LSD at which point you can see ALL OF THEM (omigodgedditoffgedditoff!). This is not recommended. The best thing to do is contact Mus-B-Trippin' Exterminators and let them spray. Only freaked-out poison-spewing exterminators aren't conducive to good health either. Most people just learn to live and let live with regard to the Deadly and Insidious Abode Spider.
.
On second thought, that looks like a completely different spider. So never mind.
I have no problems with small spiders on webs. It\'s the brown ones that scuttle around the basement floor that really get me.

We keep getting spiders in our apt. Tonight we had a gigantic one. What type of poison can I use to kill them without harming my cats?

You're reading I found this spider on the outside of my house. It is huge, brown and hairy. Any ideas on what kind of spider this is?
